Level Introduction:
Level I consists of 6 units, each unit containing 14 sessions broken down into learning cycles. This level is appropriate for 0-A1 CEFR level learners. Level 1 focuses on basic reading skills such as capital and lowercase letter recognition, moving on to Individual phonics sounds, vowels, blending sounds to read cvc words and rhyming with word families. If the student cannot read but is a confident speaker, they still belong in Level 1.
Listening Expectancy:
student can actively respond to one step directions like “circle” or “draw a line with the help of TPR
Speaking expectancy
student is able to repeat single words and very basic introductory dialogue
Reading Expectancy
students are not expected to read at this level

6E Teaching Method
The 6E’s is an adapted model based on an instructional model called the “five Es” by the biological science curriculum study (BSCS). This instructional model is student-centered and helps students build their understanding about new knowledge from their past experience and knowledge.
The 6E’s represent six stages of a sequence for teaching and learning: Engage, Explore, Explain. Elaborate, Enrich and Evaluate. In the QuickStart ESL learning system, the 6E’s model is applied in the following ways:

Provide various opportunities for students to understand certain topics and skills. Each learning cycle provides enough time to practice and understand each given topic.
Explain
Provide the opportunity to explain and refine what they have learned and determine what it means. our teachers are trained to gauge the students’ understanding of a concept and provide further enrichment when needed
Elaborate
Provide students with an opportunity to develop a greater depth of understanding to make connections between concepts and real live conversations, and apply what they have learned to become confident English speakers.
Enrich
Provide students with various opportunities to practice and explore in more depth what they have learned to transfer concepts to more complex problems. Each lesson also comes with a dedicated ebook for further enrichment.
Evaluate
Students and teachers determine how much learning and understanding has taken place. Each unit has 2 assessment sessions to monitor the students progress and understand areas they need help on before moving on to the next learning cycle.
